Artist and illustrator
CPP is a French artist and illustrator based in Toulouse.
After fifteen years working in design and the digital world, his practice gradually shifted towards something simpler and more tangible: paper, gesture and material.
Working primarily with watercolor and pen, he explores the human figure, light and everyday scenes. Simple, sometimes quiet moments that he seeks not so much to narrate as to capture.
His approach deliberately relies on very little: a few tools, a limited palette and work made entirely by hand. A way of returning to the essentials and giving line, color and light enough space to exist.
His work now moves between personal projects and commissioned illustration, always with the same intention: to create images that are simple, sensitive and enduring.
